Ronald L. Scheidemantle, 80, of New Castle, passed away the afternoon of April 19, 2019 at UPMC Jameson Hospital. Born March 1, 1939 in New Castle, he was the son of Harold L. and Mary Lou (Wise) Scheidemantle. Ronald is survived by his wife of 58 years, Jean Malinchak Scheidemantle, whom he married April 8, 1961. A graduate of New Castle High School, Ron was an independent truck driver. He liked fishing, hunting and doing yard work, but always enjoyed a good cup of coffee while socializing with family and friends. Ron was a member of First Assembly of God. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Rhonda (Patsy) Bulisco and Debbie (Vince) DiCerbo, all of New Castle; two brothers, Thomas (Barbara) Scheidemantle and Greg Scheidemantle, both of New Castle; and four grandchildren, Michael (Ann) Lepore, Thomas Lepore, Ashley DiCerbo and Andrew DiCerbo. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Larry Scheidemantle. In keeping with Ron's wishes, there will be no calling hours. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
