Ronald H. Strobel, 79, of Neshannock Township, passed away the morning of February 18, 2021 at UPMC Jameson Hospital. Born April 9, 1941 in New Castle, he was the son of William and Lois (Thompson) Strobel. Ron is survived by his wife of 61 years, Judith A. (Houston) Strobel, whom he married July 31, 1959. A Laurel High School graduate, he was employed as a truck driver for Walmart until his retirement. Golfing and riding his Harley were among his varied interests. He was a member of First Church of God. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Ron (Rebecca) Strobel and Gary (Linda) Strobel of New Castle; four brothers, William "Bud" Strobel of North Carolina, Robert "Bob" Strobel of Milton, PA, Richard "Rick" Strobel of Georgia, and Tom Strobel of New Castle; one sister, Bette Hockenberry of New Castle; six grandchildren, Debbie (Tim) Brown, Daniel (Caitlin) Strobel, Kendra Strobel, Joshua Strobel, Julia Strobel and Josephine Strobel; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Unity Baptist Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the R.
