Rose Ann Jones, age 78, of Ellwood City, PA passed away the morning of May 29, 2024, at UPMC Jameson Hospital.

Rose was born January 14, 1946, in New Castle, PA. She was the daughter of the late William and Mary (Presnar) Buchowski.

Rose attended New Wilmington Schools then went on to graduate from Lawrence County Vo-Tech. She was employed as an LPN for many years. Rosie enjoyed many hobbies; fishing, sewing, reading, baking, horseback riding, and countless hours of playing UNO with Ameliah. Her most favorite past time was enjoying the time she spent with her family and her friends.

Rosie was also a volunteer at the voting poles. She was of Christian faith.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Donald Lee Jones; her beloved dog, Josie; three daughters, Debbie Malz of Enon Valley, PA, Janet (John) McFarland of Gibsonia, PA and Tammy (Gary) Johns of Cudjoe Key, FL.; five grandchildren, Kyle Malz, Megan Malz, Ryan McFarland, Justin McFarland, and Ameliah Johns; and six great grandchildren, Teagan, Maximus, Cedar, Leif, Saffron and Fable.

In keeping with her wishes there will be no visitation or services.
