Rose Palagallo, 93, of 4024 Devonshire Circle, Stow, Ohio, formerly of Stanton Avenue, New Castle, passed away the morning of January 11, 2011 at her residence.Born February 5,1917 in Ellwood City, PA, she was a daughter of Joseph and Mary Perrielli Carone.She was married for fifty five years to Orlando "Steve" Palagallo who preceded her in death on June 2, 1996.Rose was a graduate of Lincoln High School and was a homemaker. She took great joy in preparing Italian cuisine for her family and friends. Rose was a long time, active member of First Assembly of God.Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Judith and Thomas Price of Stow, OH; a son and daughter-in-law, Gerald L. and Christine Palagallo of Peoria, IL; and three grandchildren, Marc, Brian and Gerald Palagallo.In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, Bertha Bilo; three brothers, Angelo, Nick and Joseph Carone.Visitation will be held on Friday, Jan. 14, 2011, from 6:00-9:00 p.m. and Saturday, Jan. 15, 2011, from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road.A funeral service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 15, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. Chad Stoecker will officiate.
