Rosemary E. Kauffman, age 94, of New Castle, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, the early morning of July 12, 2023, at her residence.

Born July 8, 1929, in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Harry Demont and Mary Genevieve (Carroll) Cochran.

On Sept. 11, 1964, she married her beloved husband, Rev. Kenneth K. Kauffman. He preceded her in death on May 11, 2021.

For several years, Rosemary was employed by Johnson Bronze. She then went on to work at Mounts Bakery and Ralph's Golden Dawn Grocery Store, where she was a baker. Rosemary was a talented piano player and enjoyed using her talents in the children's ministry of her church and at Rockview Penitentiary, where she and her husband ministered to the inmates, many of whom called her "mom". What gave Rosemary the most joy in life, was spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She especially cherished the times she was needed as a babysitter. She was a member of Hosanna Praise Assembly and more recently, Family Worship Center of New Castle.

Survivors include her four children, Beth (Roger) Schell, Rev. Mark (Jill) Kauffman, Kenny (Joni) Kauffman II, and Rev. Kris (Kelly) Kauffman, all of New Castle, PA; nine grandchildren, Stephen Mitchell, April Calton, Lauri (Matthew) Buly, Anthony Gidaro, Ryan Gidaro, Kayla (Ryan) McNamara, Joshua (Claire) Kauffman, Kristen Kauffman and Christian Kauffman; and ten great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, Rosemary was preceded in death by two brothers, James C. Cochran and Arnold D. Cochran and one sister, Dolores G. Grossman.

Visitation will be held on Sat. July 15th from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.

A funeral service will take place immediately following visitation at 4:00 PM, at the funeral home, with The Rev. Dr. Mark Kauffman of Jubilee Ministries International.

Burial will be alongside her husband at Castleview Memorial Gardens.
