Rosemary "Rosie" Gleghorn, 70, of New Castle passed away on January 19, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family and friends. She was born July 10, 1949 in New Castle, PA to the late Richard and Mary Lombardo Giannone. She is survived by her beloved husband of 23 years, Charles Gleghorn, whom she married on April 8, 1996. Rosemary was a 1967 graduate of New Castle High School and was employed with Liberty Mutual for 35 years. She was an international traveler who also enjoyed bowling, walking outdoors, golfing, shopping and eagle watching. Along with her husband, she is survived by one brother, Dr. Larry (Diane) Giannone of Houston, TX; one sister, Geri (Clyde) Hobel of New Castle; niece, Dr. Jill Hobel (D.J.) Agellon; nephew, David (Lia) Hobel; several grand nephews; and her doggie companion, Sneaky. She was beloved by Delores Gleghorn and all family members. In addition to her parents, Rosemary was preceded in death by one brother, James R. Giannone. A one hour visitation will be held at R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road on Friday, January 24, from 5:00-6:00 p.m. A service will immediately follow visitation at 6:00 at the funeral home with The Rev.
