Rosetta E. McClelland, 76, of 120 E. Elizabeth Street, New Castle, died the morning of December 28, 2011 at UPMC Montefiore Hospital.Born December 6, 1935 in New Castle, she was a daughter of J. Edward and Sophia Krestel White. She married Herbert L. McClelland on May 25, 1957. He survives in New Castle.She was a 1953 graduate of Princeton High School and was employed with Huntington Bank, formerly Sky Bank, until her retirement.Rosetta enjoyed playing cards and crocheting. She also loved cooking, but most importantly enjoyed the time spent with her children and grandchildren.She was a member of Savannah United Methodist Church.She is survived by one daughter Wende (Richard) Litrenta of New Castle; two sons, J. Eric (Michele) McClelland of New Castle and Kurt A. (Tammy) McClelland of Welch's Creek, KY; two sisters, Lois Burns of Myaka City, FL and Janina White of New York City, NY; two step-sisters, Jackie Seltzer of Enon Valley and Charlene Loth of Dunwoody, GA; six grandchildren, Austin McClelland, Katy McClelland, Hannah McClelland, Kari McClelland, Raegan Litrenta and Rocco Litrenta.She was preceded in death by her parents.Visitation will be held on Friday, Dec. 30, 2011, from 3:00-7:00 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road.A funeral service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 31, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. Laura Skiba will officiate.
