Roy L. McCampbell, 91, of King, North Carolina passed away the morning of June 27, 2018 at Priddy Manor Assisted Living. Born March 13, 1927, in Greensburg , PA he was the son of George and Lena G. Foulk McCampbell. He married his sweetheart, Carolyn Young McCampbell, on August 12, 1949. She survives. Roy served our country as an Army Air Corp. Veteran in World War II. He was a manufacturer sales rep for 40 years. Roy was a member of the New Castle Rotary Club #89, Mahoning Lodge F &AM #243 and New Castle Consistory and Syria Shrine of Pittsburgh. He was also a member of Clen-Moore Presbyterian Church. What gave Roy the most enjoyment in life was spending time with his family. Along with his wife, Roy is survived by 2 daughters; Cindy Lou (William S. Jr.) Ferrucci of King, North Carolina, Debra Lynn (Robert A.) Masters of New Castle, Pa., 2 grandchildren; Kristen (Barrett) Plasman of Greensboro, North Carolina, Daniel Ferrucci of Washington D.C., 4 great-grandchildren; Sam, Sophia, Will and Charlie Plasman. Roy was preceded in death by his parents, 1 son; Mac McCampbell and 1 sister; Martha Young. Private Services were held on June 28th in King, North Carolina.
