Russell Dale
Cline Jr.
Aug 23, 1953 — Jun 9, 2025
Russell Dale Cline Jr., 71, was a devoted husband, father, and man of faith. He passed away peacefully on June 9, 2025, surrounded by family.
Russell was born on August 23, 1953, in New Castle, PA to Russell Dale Cline Sr. and Frances Narelle Boozer Cline of Portersville, PA. Russell married Karen Sue English Cline and raised his four children in Portersville, PA. He later made his home in New Waterford, OH with his wife Beverly Huffman (Baer) Cline, where he attended Pathway Church.
Russell (Fess) was known for his mechanical skill, sharp mind, and quiet strength. He enjoyed traveling and sharing life's simple pleasures with his beloved wife, Beverly. He took pride in providing for his family and found joy in helping with home projects, fixing vehicles, offering guidance, and being a steady spiritual leader. His strong work ethic, integrity, and deep love for God and family defined his life. A man of his word, he believed in doing the right thing—especially when no one was watching—and could always be counted on for his honesty, loyalty, and humility.
He worked as a machinist at Rochester Machine before becoming a CNC programmer at Herr-Voss, where he remained until he retired in 2018.
Russell was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Karen Sue English Cline; and his sister, Kathy Leanne Cline.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly Cline; his children: Michael (Julia) Cline, Jodi (Matt) Mularski, Jenette (Josh) Joyce, and David (Julie) Cline; and his stepchildren: Wade Baer, Megan (Keith) Kollaja, and Samuel (Heather) Baer. He was a proud grandfather to Isabella, Madelyn, and Liam Cline; Maya and Casen Mularski; and Audrey and Wesley Cline. He also leaves behind step-grandchildren: Ethan and Cora Baer, Emily Kollaja, and Ellie, Emmett, and Everly Baer - and he was known and loved as Grandpa Fess to many more.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025, from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home, 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle, PA. A Celebration of Life Service will follow immediately at 2:00 PM, with Pastor Mike Charles, formerly of Portersville Bible Church, officiating.
