Russell L. Myers, 71, of New Castle, passed away the morning of December 14, 2013 at his home.Russell was born on April 8, 1942, in New Castle, to the late Roy Wesley and Elizabeth A McConahy Myers. Mr. Myers was a truck driver and mechanic for many companies, including Book Trucking. He was a former member of New Bedford Presbyterian Church. Russell is survived by his daughter Suzanne Myers of Pulaski; one son and daughter-in-law, David R. and Lisa Myers of Graham, WA; one brother and sister-in-law, Charles E. and Cindy Myers of Princeton, PA; his brother-in-law, Irvin Hofmeister; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Glendora and Tom Book of New Castle and Karen and Ed Hockenberry of FL; 3 grandchildren, Kirstin Bryant, and her husband Randall, and Trevor and Kelsi Woods; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Myers was preceded in passing by his parents and sister, Patricia Hofmeister. The family would like to extend a special, heartfelt thank you to Linda, Myrna, Liz, Brenda and Lisa for your wonderful care and compassion. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2013, from 5-8 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Rd. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. The Rev.
