Ruth V. Klingensmith, 92, of New Castle, passed away the night of April 7, 2013 at Lawrence County Geri-Care. Born July 16, 1920, in Mayport, PA, she was a daughter of John and Mabel Reitz. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Klingensmith. Ruth was previously employed with Jameson Hospital in laundry services. She is survived by her three sons, Wayne Lemmon, Keith Lemmon, and Gary Lemmon, all of New Castle; one brother, Paul Reitz of Timblin, PA; one sister, Joanne Yeager of Indiana; five grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Wilda Reitz, Helen Reitz, Grace Reitz, and Dora McConnell; and one brother, Darrell Reitz.Visitation will be held on Friday, April 12, 2013, from 4:00-5:00 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road. A Memorial Service will be held immediately following visitation Friday, April 12, 2013, at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home and will be officiated by Rev. Richard Nero.
