Ruth Ann Mack, 80, of New Castle, passed away the morning of September 21, 2018 at Clen-Moore Place. Born February 2, 1938 in New Castle, she was the daughter of James W. and Sue D. (Adams) Patton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Mack, whom she married October 22, 1955. Ruth Ann owned and operated her own beauty shop for 60 years. She loved the times she spent with her children and grandchildren, and enjoyed the companionship of her dogs. She attended Clifton Flats Alliance Church. Surviving are two daughters, Pam (Randall) Kale of New Castle and Beverly (Jim) Hamilton of Wampum; one son, Harry (Kathy) Mack of Edinburg; one brother, Thomas (Linda) Patton of Alexandria, VA; two sisters, Carol (Don) Bolinger of New Castle and Judy Patton of Richmond, VA; four grandchildren, Randall Kale and his fianc, Tammy Patton of New Castle, Harry L. (Delane) Mack, Jr. of Hurst, TX, William Suszynski and Lori Suszynski both of New Castle; and two great-grandchildren, Riley Benegasi and Carly Mack. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Jeffery L. Mack; two brothers, David Patton and Jim Patton; and one granddaughter, Jennifer Benegasi. Visitation will be held on Monday from 10:00-1:00 at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road. A funeral service will be held at the conclusion of visitation Monday at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Jarod Mills officiating. Burial will be in Castle View Gardens.
