Ruth M. Miller Robison, 90, of Hermitage, formerly of Frazier Dr., New Castle, passed away the evening of August 10, 2014 at Sharon Regional Health System.Born February 18, 1924, in New Castle, she was the daughter of William I. and Laura M. Watson Miller.Ruth married Charles W. Robison and he preceded her in death on May 23, 1994.A graduate of New Castle High School, she was a file clerk at Johnson Bronze.Ruth enjoyed being a homemaker.She was a member of Clen-Moore Presbyterian Church.Ruth is survived by a daughter, Sandra J. Robison of Hermitage; a son, Larry W. Robison of Hermitage; a sister, Donna Fore Michaels of New Castle; a daughter-in-law, Diana Robison Kennedy of New Galilee; two grandchildren, Kellie S. Robison, and Ann Robison; and five great grandchildren, Karen, Kayla and Edger (Buddy) Vantassel and Robbie and Martin James Schrildi; and several nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Edward C. Robison; a brother, Clifford C. Miller; and her stepmother, Nora Bintrim Miller.Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 13, 2014, at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 2429 Wilmington Road.A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 14, 2014, at the funeral home. The Rev. Chris Weichman will officiate.Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery.
