Ruth A. (Eckman) Roudabush, age 88, of New Castle, passed away the afternoon of October 24, 2022, at Quality Life Services in New Castle.

Ruth was born May 9, 1934, in Kittanning, PA, the youngest of twelve children. She was married for 55 years to her beloved husband, David S. Roudabush, who preceded her in death on February 28, 2010.

She was a homemaker who loved cooking and baking as well as going to the beauty salon to get her hair done. She was very active in her church, Maitland Lane Free Methodist Church.

Ruth is survived by a daughter, Ruth (James) Hockenberry of Daytona, Florida; one son, David (Kathy) Roudabush of New Castle; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by two daughters, an infant daughter Betty Alice, and Carol Lauderbaugh, who passed in 2021; and eleven brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, Oct. 27, from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.

A funeral service will take place immediately following the visitation at 6:00 with Pastor John Fraser officiating.

Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
