Ruth U. Tindall, 93, of New Castle, passed away the evening of February 28, 2018 in hospice, surrounded by her loving family. Born April 5, 1924, in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Ralph H. and Flora Brest Urey. She married Donald E. Tindall on December 8, 1945. He preceded her in death on June 12, 1999. Ruth graduated from Mt. Jackson High School. She went onto work at Liberty Mutual as a supervisor. She enjoyed many things such as bowling, going to Challenges, playing cards, and neighborhood birthday parties. What gave Ruth the most joy in life, was spending time with her beloved family. Ruth was a member of Moravia Presbyterian Church. Ruth is survived by three daughters; Linda (Thomas) Robb of Bessemer, Pa., Donna (Joseph) Wojtowicz of Mineral Ridge, Oh., Debra (David) Cinque of New Castle, Pa., one son; Robert B. (Joanne) Tindall of Cincinnati, Oh., nine grandchildren; Terri, Lori, Shari, Marc, Matthew, Jenifer, Lindsay, Steven, and Amy, and three great grandchildren; Juliana, Edie and Jackson. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers; Kenneth and Ralph Urey, Jr., and one sister, Jean Snyder. Visitation will be on Saturday, March 3rd from 12:00PM - 2:00PM at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle. A service will be immediately following visitation, at 2:00 PM with the Rev. John Lersch officiating. Burial will be at Castleview Memorial Gardens.
