Sally L. Naples, age 73, of New Castle, PA, passed away the evening of Nov. 14, 2024, at her residence with her loved ones at her side.

Born Oct. 15, 1951, in Sharon, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph L. and Pauline McLaughlin Reiter.

On Feb. 20, 1996, she married her beloved husband of 28 years, Steven Naples. He survives at home.

Sally was a graduate of Sharon High School. She went on to further her education at New York School of Nursing. Sally worked as a registered nurse, where she gave each of her patient's thoughtful, loving, and compassionate care. She loved to read, spend time with her family and was an avid New York Yankees fan. Sally will always be remembered for her philanthropic heart, never missing an opportunity to care for someone, or give them the shirt off her back.

In addition to her husband, Sally is survived by two stepdaughters, Stephanie Mazzocco and Maria Nakelski; two brothers, John B. (Delores) Reiter and Paul A. (Linda) Reiter; her dear friend Amanda Mihaly, eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Sally was preceded in death by her son, Lloyd Kelly, her sister, Carolyn Jem Reiter, her brother Lynn Reiter, son-in-law, David Mazzocco and a granddaughter.

Visitation will be held on Sat. Dec. 7th from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.

A memorial service will take place immediately following visitation, at noon, at the funeral home.
