Sally L. Welker, age 86 of Neshannock Township, passed away the afternoon of Jan. 24, 2021. Born Jan. 11, 1935, in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Russell W. and Ella B. (Davis) Roberts. On June 14, 1958, she married her beloved husband of 62 years, Ralph Welker. He survives at home. Sally was a 1952 graduate of New Castle High School. After graduation she attended the New Castle Business School. For several years she was a secretary at Flowline Corporation and more recently, a secretary at Epworth United Methodist Church. Sally was a volunteer at UPMC Jameson Hospital and was a member of Jameson Jr. Guild. She enjoyed reading however, what Sally treasured most in life, was taking care of, and spending time with, her beloved husband and daughter. She was a member of First Baptist Church. Along with her husband, Sally is survived by one daughter, Cynthia Welker of Neshannock Township, and four nieces. In addition to her parents, Sally was preceded in death by one son, Rodney Welker and two sisters, Edna Workman and Carrie J. Fleming. Services will be private for the family with Pastor John Yergan officiating. Burial will be at Oak Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be offered to First Baptist Church, 984 W.
