Samuel J. Wetzel, 50, of New Castle, passed away unexpectedly the afternoon of May 24, 2019 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown. Born August 15, 1968 in New Castle, he was the son of James Omar Wetzel and Nancy (Jordan) Wetzel. Sam was employed with W R Cade Paving Inc. of New Castle. He was a member of CG's German Culture Club and of the Jagielly Society Club. He is survived by his wife, Kimberly (Bosley) Wetzel; one daughter, Daniella R. Wetzel of New Castle; one son, Samuel A. Wetzel of New Castle; two brothers, Richard Wetzel of New Castle and Mark (Bonnie) Wetzel of Pulaski; two sisters, Kim Long and Michelle Wetzel both of New Castle; and his mother, Nancy Wetzel of New Castle. Sam was preceded in death by his father and by his twin brother, Daniel Wetzel. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 31, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the R.
