Sandra Lee Conti, age 82, of New Castle, passed away the early morning of June 29, 2022, at The Haven Convalescent Home. Born Aug. 4, 1939, in New Castle, she was the daughter of George Hill and Eleanor (Dean) Reed. On June 14, 1980, she married her husband of 42 years, Marshall Conti, Jr. He survives at home. Sandra was a graduate of New Castle High School. She was a homemaker, who loved sewing, canning, and swimming. She will be remembered for her amazing baking and gardening. Sandra was a member of People's Alliance Church, where she taught Sunday School. Along with her husband, survivors include three daughters, Delores (Allan) Klamer and Sharon (David) Kohser both of New Castle, Esther R. (Scott) Buckner of Edinburg, PA, and two step-daughters, Lisa (Peter) Hudson and Chris Tirey both of Houston, TX; one stepson, Marshall Conti III of Struthers, OH; brother, Edward (Ann) Hill of New Castle, PA; four grandchildren, Stephen Moyer, Melissa Foreman, Elise Moyer, Bethann McDonald, five step grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by her sister, Sally Pardick and former husband, Frank Stirling. A memorial service will be held on Sat. July 2nd, 2022, at 1:00 PM at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle, with Pastor Steve DeSantis of First Assembly of God, officing.
