Sandy Crowe, 73, of Slippery Rock, passed away the afternoon of Jan. 10th 2020 at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh. Born August 5, 1946, in New Castle, Sandy was the daughter to the late William Robert & Doris (McGaffic) Heim. She married her beloved husband, Ronald Crowe on Nov. 21, 1969. He preceded her in death on Dec. 29th 2013. Sandy was a School bus driver, employed by Campbell's, for 13 years. She loved playing bingo, watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and most of all, spending time with her great grandchild, Payton. Sandy is survived by brother-in-law Russell (Sharon) Crowe of Royal Center, IN; nephew William Gerald Crowe of Valparaiso IN; son-in-law Charles Miller of Volant, Pa; granddaughter Vanessa Snow and great-granddaughter, Payton Snow, both of New Castle, Pa. Along with her husband and parents, Sandy was preceded in death by daughter Kathy Crowe, her in-laws, William and Erma Crowe, and niece Mary Ann Crowe. Visitation will be held on Tues, Jan. 14th from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle. A funeral service will take place immediately after visitation, at the funeral home, at 1:00 pm with Pastor Jordan Rimmer of Northminster Presbyterian Church, officiating.
