Sara J. "Sally" McVicker, 85, of Edinburg, passed away the evening of April 11, 2019 at Jameson Care Center.
Born September 9, 1933 in New Castle, she was the daughter of Ralph and Marie (Johnston) Cooper.
Sally was preceded in death on March 13, 2012 by her husband of 29 years, Keith D. McVicker, whom she married March 3, 1983.
She was a graduate of New Castle High School and was a homemaker, caring for her five children.
Among her interests, she enjoyed flowers, gardening and redecorating her home. Sally was a member of Washington Union Alliance Church.
She is survived by her four daughters, Wendy (Dan) Cox and Lonny Herb of New Castle, Tracy (Jeff) Kempton of Dayton, Ohio, and Cindy (Jerry) Grgurich of Hermitage; one son, William (Jennifer) Boyles of Alabama; two brothers, Ralph Cooper of New Castle and Allen Cooper of Edinburg; 16 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenny and Jim Cooper and one sister, Shirley Roberts.
In keeping with her wishes, there will be no visitation or service.
