Sarah Evelyn 'Sally' McCann, 90, formerly of New Castle, passed away April 9, 2020 at Peak Care Center in Longmont, Colorado. Born October 8, 1929 in New Castle, she was the daughter of Ernest and Rachel Mae (Davies) Crawford. She was preceded in death on June 12, 1994 by her husband of 45 years, Daniel E. McCann, whom she married November 13, 1948. Sally was proud of her long career in sales as manager at Shenango China, a job that she loved. She was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and family. She is survived by one daughter, Marcia Sewczak of Firestone, Colorado; two sons, Gary E. McCann and Robert C. McCann both of New Castle; 14 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by one son, David M. McCann; a daughter, Lynn A. Beichner; one brother, Ernest Crawford; and one sister, Vivian Jean Hammond. Due to the unfortunate health crisis, the family will announce a memorial service to honor Sally at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by the R.
