Sharon Lee Boughter, age 76, of Neshannock Township, passed away the afternoon of November 27, 2022, at UPMC Jameson Hospital.

Born November 7, 1946, in New Castle, she was the daughter of Robert Lee and Doris Virginia (Smith) Patton.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Edward T. Boughter.

A graduate of New Castle High School, Sharon worked as a care giver for both St. Francis Hospital and Jameson Hospital over 30 years.

Among her many interests, she enjoyed knitting, crafts, and participating in the activities at Life Lawrence County. She loved spending time with her loving husband Ed and their cat, Spooky, often taking long rides and sightseeing in the outdoors and visiting Canada.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter, LeeAnn Peluso of Denver, CO; one sister, Paula Jean (Wayne) Stiger of Pulaski; two grandchildren, Shannon (Nate) Peluso-Cameron and Brittany (Derek) Peluso-Skufca; and five great-grandchildren, Wynter, Raven, Willow, Ashlan and Jadan.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a son-in-law, Richard Peluso.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no services at this time.
