Sharon L. Brunswick, age 70, of New Castle, passed away the morning of August 16, 2023, at her residence.

Born January 24, 1953, in New Castle, she was the daughter of Thomas Kerr and Thelma (Woods) Milliken.

Sharon is survived by her husband of 50 years, David Brunswick, whom she married February 19, 1973.

A graduate of Laurel High School, she attended the New Castle Beauty Academy and became the owner of Guys & Dolls Beauty Shoppe for 37 years.

Among her many interests, Sharon enjoyed gardening, baking, knitting and reading, but spending time with her grandchildren was most important to her.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Jodi (Robbie) Hairhoger of Wampum and Rachael Keller and Zoe Kerr of New Castle; three brothers, Garry (Jane) Kerr of California, Ron (Carol) Kerr of Georgia and Thomas (Robin) Kerr of Kane, PA; two sisters, Sue (Brian) Aul of Kane, PA and Beth (Dan) Robison of New Castle; and two grandchildren, Karli Keller and Jaelyn Hairhoger.

She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers, Dan Kerr, Norman "Butch" Williamson, Glenn Kerr and Scott Kerr.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 19, from 2:00-4:00 p.m. with a service immediately following the visitation at 4:00 at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road. Brian Aul will officiate the service.
