Sharon M. Irvine, age 63, of New Castle passed away the morning of November 18, 2016 surrounded by loving family and friends. Born in Colver, PA on December 2, 1952, she was a daughter of John Albert and Linora Byron Griffith. On August 6, 1998, she married Thomas R. Irvine, who survives her at home. A graduate of Butler County Community College, Sharon was employed as a registered nurse at UPMC Jameson. When not working, she enjoyed her grandchildren, traveling and her three cats dearly. Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Kevin J. Kirkpatrick of Cranberry Twp. and Kris A. Kirkpatrick of Monroe, GA; one brother, Jim Griffith of Ebensburg, PA; one sister, Laureen Griffith of Cambria County; and three grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and one sister. Visitation will be from 5-8 Monday at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.
