Sharon Lamar Reno, age 71, of New Castle, passed away the early morning of June 4, 2023.

Born March 6, 1952, in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Emerson and Pauline (Krause) Reno.

Sharon was a graduate of Lawrence County Vo. Tech. She enjoyed reading, walking at Pearson Park with her beloved dog, "Tara" and attending church. Most of all, Sharon cherished the time she spent with her family.

Survivors include one son, James Franklin (Becky) O'Neil, Jr., of Ellwood City, PA; one daughter, Kimberly Ann O'Neil of Fox Chapel, PA; two sisters, Wilamina (Frank) Presnar of Shenango Twp., PA, and Carol P. Murphy of New Castle, PA; four grandchildren, Ryan (Jen) O'Neil, Aiden O'Neil, Bethany Flanary, and Brian (Autumn) Flanary; one great-grandchild, Arlo Punzell; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by one brother-in-law, Howard Murphy.

In keeping with her wishes there will be no visitation or services.
