Shirley Caldwell, 83, of New Castle, passed away the morning of May 10, 2018, at UPMC Jameson Hospital. Born May 23, 1934, in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Hazel Stiver Park. On October 25, 1952, she married Norman Caldwell. He preceded her in death on December 11, 2017. Shirley enjoyed baking, cooking, crocheting and camping. What she enjoyed the most, was spending time with her family. She was a book keeper at Caldwell Heating. Shirley was a member of Calvary Independent Church. Shirley is survived by four daughters; Lori Caldwell of New Castle, Vicki Krause of Florida, Felicia Caldwell of New Castle, Linda Stoner of Youngstown, OH, two sons; Terry L. Caldwell and Jeffery M. Caldwell, both of New Castle, 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Along with her parents, and husband, she is preceded in death by two brothers; Ralph and Elton Park and one sister; Ruth Borger. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 15th, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle. A service will be immediately following visitation, at 7:00 PM with James Caldwell officiating. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery.
