Shirley A. Weatherwax, 79, formerly of Corinth, NY passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at Jameson Hospital in New Castle, PA, following an extended illness.

Born on March 21, 1947, in Corinth, NY she was the daughter of the late William and Isabelle (Gage) Pike.

Shirley attended Corinth High School. She married Gordon Weatherwax and the couple resided in Greenfield Center for several years before he passed away in 1983. Shirley dedicated her life to raising her family. Following the death of her daughter, Wanda, she recently moved to be closer to her daughter, Sharon in Pennsylvania. She attended the Evangelical Wesleyan Methodist Church for several years. Shirley enjoyed gardening, reading, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents and her husband, she was also predeceased by one daughter, Wanda Pike; and one brother, William Pike, Jr.

Survivors include four children, Sharon M. Haskell of Greenville, PA., Cathy Pike of Valatia, Linda Pike of Utica, Steven Pike of Sharpsville, PA; eight grandchildren, Jeremy, Joshua, Jessica, and Angelina Haskell, Paul and Patrica Pike, and Devon and Aaron Pike; four great-grandchildren, Tory, Trinity, Jeremia and Leland; seven siblings, Janet Barrs, Helen Montney, Kenny Pike, and Lucy Simmons, Phillip Pike, Susan Danise, and Jane Pike; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call from Noon until 1 p.m., Thursday, July 30, 2026, at the Densmore Funeral Home, Inc., 7 Sherman Ave., Corinth with a celebration of Shirley's life to follow at 1 p.m., also at the funeral home.

Burial will then be at Corinth Rural Cemetery, Rt. 9N, Corinth.
