Sondra Morrissey Smith, age 82, of Neshannock Twp., passed away the early morning of March 28, 2023, at her residence.

Born Nov. 17, 1940, in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Edith (Emery) Morrissey. She was married to Howard "Snooky" S. Smith who preceded her in death on March 9, 1996.

Sondra was a graduate of New Castle High School. For several years, she owned and operated Smith Paving, alongside her husband, until her retirement.

She is survived by her daughter, Renee (Timothy) Gray, of New Wilmington, PA; four grandchildren, Jordan, Tyler, Gavin and Alexis; her brother, Donald Morrissey (Jacque) of Chatham, Massachusetts, and her sister Marilyn Duning of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held by Renee and her family on Sat. April 15th, from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM at Four Pizzeria Bar & Grill, 2409 Wilmington Road, New Castle, PA 16105. Friends may stop in to remember Sondra.
