Sophie was more than a pet she was our shadow, our comfort, our joy, and our heart. A sweet and sassy Shih Tzu with a personality far bigger than her tiny frame, she filled our home with unconditional love and warmth for over 15 years. Sophie loved cuddles, having her ears rubbed, and McDonald’s cheeseburgers. She was always the first to the dinner table, scratching at our legs relentlessly, begging for food! She greeted us at the door when we came home from work, wagging her fluffy tail and doing a little dance until someone picked her up. Letting her go was one of the hardest things we’ve ever had to do as a family. We always said Sophie was handpicked for us by God—and we truly believe that. She was woven into our hearts and will stay there until we can be with her again. Sophie, we hope you’re getting all the cheeseburgers and head scratches your little heart desires. This isn’t goodbye, sweet girl, this is see you soon.  We love you forever Mommy, Samantha, Bobby, and Grandma
