Stephen D. Keller, 71, of Edinburg, passed away January 31, 2020 at his residence. Born October 24, 1948 in New Castle, he was the son of Lee R. and Rachel P. (Seh) Allen who preceded him in death. Stephen is survived by his wife of 48 years, Patricia A. (Williams) Keller, whom he married May 20, 1971. After attending Allegheny Wesleyan College, he was employed with Blair Strip Steel in the shipping department for 32 years until his retirement. A member of New Creation Free Methodist Church, he also attended Mercer Free Methodist Church, serving as their assistant pastor. He served others as a lay pastor in nursing home ministries. He was a volunteer firefighter with the Union Township Volunteer Fire Department. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Josh Keller of New Castle; two brothers, David Keller of Oklahoma and Dennis Keller of Youngstown, Ohio; and adoptive daughter, Sylvia Ruiz of New Castle. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 3, from 4:00-6:00 at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road. A funeral service will take place at 6:00 with Pastor Chuck Jewell, Pastor Richard Jenks and Rev. John Frazier officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hermon Cemetery.
