Obituary

Steve N. Chink Leshinsky, 85, passed away the evening of October 17 at his residence. Born in Youngstown, OH on April 2, 1933, Steve was a son of the late Steve and Anna Walkosak Leshinsky. He married the former Dena T. LaMarco on May 13, 1967. She survives at home. Steve, a Navy veteran, attended Wilson High School and was a welder by trade. He retired from Rockwell International. After retiring Steve enjoyed painting houses like Spider Man. Family and friends could always count on Steve for a impressionable saying or quote, which his children fondly referred to as Steve-isms. Steve is survived by his wife Dena of 51 years, a daughter, Ann-Margaret Lambo and her husband Jamie, of Canton, OH and two sons, Michael and Matthew, of New Castle. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Ann Therese Lambo of Pittsburgh, Paul Lambo of Canton, OH and Michael Leshinsky, Jr., of New Castle. Additionally, Steve is survived by two sisters, Dolly Leshinsky and Karen Salata of Amherst, OH and a sister-in-law Marlene Ballinger of Las Vegas, NV, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Steve was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and sister-in-law, John R. and Mary Ellen Leshinsky, his in-laws, Romeo and Margaret LaMarco and two brothers-in-law Ronnie LaMarco and Ron Ballinger of Las Vegas, NV. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday, October 20th at 11:00 AM at St. Camillus Church. The family will receive friends and family from 10-11AM, prior to mass, at the church. Father Anthony Sciarappa will officiate. The family would like to thank Dr. Ramesh Kaul for his kind, compassionate and insightful care.
