Steven E. Atwell, 46, of 128 28th Division Highway, Carlton, PA, passed away October 10, 2011 at Allegheny General Hospital.Born April 17, 1965 in Franklin, PA, he was a son of Eugene E. and Charlean Whann Atwell. He was a 1983 graduate of Laurel High School and a 1987 graduate of Grove City College.He was employed with Starlite Group in Meadville as a bookkeeper.Steven had a great interest in football and baseball, but especially enjoyed high school football. He also loved spending time with his niece amd his nephews.He was a member of the Cochranton Community Church where he was the former treasurer.In addition to his parents, he is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Daniel and Kathy Atwell of New Castle; one sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Steven Texter of Jamestown, PA; one niece, Emilee; and three nephews, Adam, Steven and Brady.Visitation will be held on Thursday. Oct. 13, 2011, from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road.A funeral service will be held on Friday, Oct. 14, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. Kent Haines and The Rev.
