Steven Anthony Naples, Jr., passed away the afternoon of Oct. 8, 2026, at this residence, with his loved ones at his side.
Born Sept. 23, 1940, he was the son of the late Steven and Julia (Lamarco) Naples, Sr.
On Feb. 20, 1996, he married his beloved wife of 28 years, Sally L. (Reiter) Naples, who preceded him in death on Nov. 14, 2024.
Steven was of Catholic faith.
He was a butcher at Giant Eagle. Steven was a devoted fan of the New York Yankees, New York Rangers and the New York Giants always cheering on his favorite teams. He had a passion for hunting and a true love for hot rod cars and attending the car shows where he liked sharing his enthusiasm with others.
Survivors include three daughters, Stephanie Mazzocco of New Castle, Julie Kelly of Fredonia, New York, and Maria Nakelski of Lancaster, South Carolina; one sister, Margaret Naples of Poland, Ohio; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and wife, Steven was preceded in death by a son-in-law David Mazzocco; son-in-law, Lloyd Kelly; one brother, Norman Naples; two sisters, Dena Buscio and Angel Naples; and a granddaughter, Amber Naples.
The family would like to thank Three Rivers Hospice for their support and compassion throughout this process. In lieu of flowers donations may be offered to Three Rivers Hospice, 3100 Wilmington Rd, New Castle, PA 16105.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th, from 2:00 – 3:00 PM at R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc, 2429 Wilmington Road.
A funeral service will immediately follow visitation at the funeral home at 3:00 PM with Rev. Richard Nero officiating.
