Susie L. Altman, age 75 of New Castle, passed away at UPMC Jameson Hospital the evening of September 17, 2018. Born March 8, 1943, Susie was the daughter to the late Ludwig and Dorothy (Glenn) Ostrosky. She married Gerald Altman on August 18, 1961. They were married for 57 years. He survives at home. Mrs. Altman was a New Castle High School graduate. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a member of Second United Presbyterian Church. Along with her husband, Susie is survived by one daughter, Lee Anne (Alan) Shotzbarger of Brunswick, OH.; one son, Tom (Tammy) Altman of Tampa, FL.; one sister, Barbara Conway of New Castle; four grandchildren, Justin and Nicole Shotzbarger, Kelsey (Mike) Quinn, Dylan Altman; three great-grandchildren; Austin, Riley and Mackenzie Quinn. Susie was preceded in death by her parents. In keeping with Susie's wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the R.
