Tad Richard Miller, 57, of New Castle, passed away April 19, 2026, at UPMC Passavant Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Born February 1, 1969, in Beaver Falls, PA, he was the son of Bonnie Daugherty. Tad is survived by his wife of 21 years, Darlene (Macri) Miller, whom he married April 2, 2005.

A graduate of Springfield High School, he was employed as a heavy equipment operator with Foley Excavating. He was a member of United with Christ Church.

Among his many interests, Tad enjoyed camping, fishing, football and NASCAR. What he valued most was time spent with his children and grandchildren.

In addition to his wife and his mother, he is survived by two sons, Jarrad Carr of Slippery Rock, PA and Trenton Miller of New Castle; one daughter, Cynera Macri-Carr and her fiancé, Arthur Lastoria, of New Castle; four grandchildren, Caleb Carr, Tylar Carr, Ali Schilling and Beckett Lastoria.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 25, from 11:00-1:00 with a funeral service immediately following visitation at 1:00 at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc, 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle. Terry Ross will officiate.
