Tammy Lee Harding, of New Castle, passed away peacefully, due to a short illness, on Aug. 19, 2022, at Allegheny General Hospital. Born on Feb. 26, 1973, in New Castle, she was the daughter of Daniel (Sherill) Lee Neal and Elspeth (Robert) (Burns) Knis. Tammy graduated with a bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois in Mathematical Sciences and a master's degree in secondary education, from St. Joseph's University. Following graduation, she went on to be the Student Success Manager at Purdue University Global. She was also the president of her dart league. She had a loving heart and helped people by making masks during the pandemic. Tammy had a special love for her dog, Oliver, and spent all the time she could with him. Along with her parents, survivors include her daughter, Haley Harding, of Volant, PA; her son, Zach Crist, of New Castle, PA; her brother, Marc (Courtney) Neal, of Texas; and former spouse, Rob Harding. She was preceded in death by both her maternal and paternal grandparents. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 27, from 11:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. 2429 Wilmington Rd, New Castle. A funeral service will immediately follow at 1:00 pm with the Reverend Dr. Jordan Rimmer officiating.
