Teddy B. Mann, age 74, of New Castle, passed away the evening of Aug. 7, 2021, at his residence. Born April 14, 1947, in Philipsburg, PA, he was the son of the late Clark Mann and Beryl (Evans) Mann Stafford. On July 28, 2018, he married his beloved wife, Nancy (Stokes) Mann. She survives at home. Teddy faithfully served his country in the United States Navy, during Vietnam. For several years, he was employed as a metallurgist. Teddy was a devoted member of Northminster Presbyterian Church, serving as a deacon. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, and camping. In addition to his wife, Teddy is survived by two daughters, Sonya R. (Will) Shumate, of Glen Allen, VA and Sherri Jo (Richard) Jimenez of Chesterfield, VA; stepson, William (Christy) Veelman of Kettering, OH; stepdaughter, Erin (Orlando) Lobaina of Ocean Isle Beach, NC; brother, Robert (Sally) Evan of New Wilmington, PA; sister, Louise Guiliano of Struthers, OH; and four grandchildren, Sophia, Alyssia, and Carson Jimenez and Parker Shumate. Along with his parents, Teddy is preceded in death by two brothers, Stanley and Leo Mann. Visitation will be held on Wed. Aug. 11th from 1:00pm – 4:00pm at Northminster Presbyterian Church, 2434 Wilmington Road, New Castle. A service will follow immediately at 4:00 pm, with full military rites, performed by and the New Castle Area Honor Guard. Rev. Jordan Rimmer will be officiating.
