Terry Raymond Walters, age 71, of New Castle, went to be with God the evening of May 5, 2024, at UPMC Jameson Hospital.

Born June 2, 1952, in New Castle, he was the son of the late Joseph Elmer and Erla Marie (Pander) Walters.

On June 10, 1972, he married his beloved wife of 51 years, Elizabeth 'Betsy' (Mayberry) Walters. She survives at home.

Terry was a graduate of Lawrence County Vo-Tech. For 20 years he worked as a delivery driver, employed by SSD for McKesson. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. He was a member of the Mahoning Sportsman's Club, where he loved to spend time and will be remembered as a jokester. Terry was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and a Bigfoot hunter. What gave him the most joy, was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife Terry is survived by one son, Joe (Korey) Walters of Bessemer, PA; one daughter, Geraline Marie (Jeffrey) Hosie of Union Twp., PA; one sister, Kimberly (Perry) Bartholemew of Neshannock Twp., PA; seven grandchildren, Tairy Benincase of Shenango, Twp., Griffin (Sierra) Holtom, Joseph Walters, Brooke Walters, all of Bessemer PA, Christian Benincase, Sarah Hosie, and Gage Hosie all of Union Twp., and one great grandchild, Luca.

Visitation will be held on Thurs. May 9th from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.

A funeral service will be held immediately following visitation, 6:00 PM, at the funeral home, with Pastor John Frasier officiating.

Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery.
