Theda Lenore Nastas, 89, formerly of Cambridge Street, passed away the morning of October 21, 2017 at the Avalon Nursing Center. Born July 20, 1928 in New Castle, she was the daughter of James Garfield Houk and Almire Ernestine Morgan Houk. Theda was employed in Department 54 as a gold liner with Shenango China for 30 years until her retirement when the factory closed. She enjoyed crocheting and travel, and loved collecting dolls. She was of Protestant faith. In keeping with Thedas wishes, there will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be announced at a later date at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donors choice. Arrangements are by the R.
