Theresa Musolino Googe, 87, of New Castle passed away the afternoon of January 19, 2013 at the Jameson Memorial Hospital. Theresa was born on April 27, 1925, in New Castle, to the late Frank and Rose Spenillo Musolino. She married the late Robert L. Googe on May 13, 1970. He passed on November 14, 2007. She was employed for 18 years in the cafeteria at the former St. Francis Hospital. Mrs. Googe was a faithful Catholic. Theresa is survived by her step daughter and step son-in-law, Nora and Russell Smith of Edinburg; two brothers, James and Joseph Musolino; and three sisters, Catherine and Antoinette Musolino and Frances Brenner, all of New Castle; two step grandchildren and four step great-grandchildren. She was preceded in passing by her parents and husband. In accordance with Theresa's wishes, private services were conducted on Sunday at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., New Castle. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
