Thomas E. "Cappy" Capitola, 61, of New Castle, passed away the night of December 1, 2014 in Allegheny General Hospital. Born February 18, 1953 in New Castle, he was a son of Russell F. and Delores McKee Capitola. A Neshannock High School graduate, he was employed by Giant Eagle where he worked in the produce department. Cappy was a huge fan of the Beatles. He is survived by his sister, Diane E. Capitola, of New Castle. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2014, from 4:00­6:00 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road. A service will take place immediately following visitation at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Rev. Matthew Bupp, Celtic Hospice Chaplin, will be officiating. Burial will be in Castle View Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
