Thomas W. Kimmel, 62, of Imperial, PA, formerly of Portersville, passed away the morning of August 30, 2011 in Weirton Medical Center, Weirton, West Virginia.Born November 10, 1948 in New Castle, he was a son of J. Howard and Winifred O. Dean Kimmel.He was a graduate of Southern High School in Maryland.He was employed by Nestle'/Purina as a shipping manager for thirty years.Tom enjoyed camping and boating. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and his family.He is survived by one daughter, Leigh Ann and John McBurney of Pittsburgh; four brothers, Tracy and Cheryl Kimmel of New Castle, Dr. Timothy and Darcy Kimmel and Travis and Donna Kimmel, both of Scottsdale, AZ, and Todd and Ruth Kimmel of Lynchburg, VA; one sister, Toni Kimmel of Scottsdale, AZ; and three grandchildren, Emily, Sydney and Madison.He was preceded in death by his parents.Visitation will be held Friday, Sept. 2, 2011, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.A funeral service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. The Rev.
