Thomas W. McKee, 84, of Eastbrook passed away at 8:00 A.M. on October 24, 2016 at his residence. Born on September 20, 1932 in New Castle, he was a son of W. Clyde "Skinny" and Betty Houston McKee. On August 29, 1958 he married the former June E. Downing. She preceded him in death on March 23, 2002. Thomas was employed through the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local #712. He retired after 37 years. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. His greatest enjoyment came from time spent with his family. He also enjoyed fishing, square dancing, working in the yard, and meeting with other retired electricians. He was a member of Eastbrook United Methodist Church. Survivors include three sons, Tom (Reggie) McKee of Eastbrook, Mark McKee of Kennerdell, PA and Bill (Cheryl) McKee of New Castle; one sister, Marilyn (Donald) Hanna of Eastbrook; four grandchildren, Thomas E. (Christy) McKee, Leigh Ann (Travis) Hohmann, Scott W. McKee, and Katie McKee; and two great grandchildren, Brianna R. McKee and Camden Thomas McKee. Besides his parents and wife, he is preceded in death by one sister, Joan Kerr. Visitation will be from 4-7 on Wednesday and 10-11 on Thursday at R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle. A funeral service will be held immediately following visitation at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday at the funeral home.
