Timothy Lee Eakin, age 64 of New Castle, passed away at home with his family at his bedside, on Jan. 31, 2021.
Born Jan. 26, 1957, in New Castle, he was the son of Alvin James Eakin and Carol Ann (Saunders) Sibeto. They survive at home.
Tim was a New Castle High School graduate. For 30 years, he worked at Penn Power as a mechanic. He was the owner of Texaco Gas Station and worked in the heating and cooling industry as well. Tim enjoyed riding his Harley and was a member of the ABATE motorcycle club. He loved cooking, was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, but what gave him the most joy in life, was spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Tim is survived by five daughters, April Dawn Eakin, Lee-Anna Nicole Upperman, Dyanna Lynn Eakin, Ashlee Nikole Eakin, Nicole Lee-Anna Eakin; two sons, Jason David Miles, Travis Joseph-Paul Eakin; six brothers, Robert Eakin, Randy (Yvonne) Eakin, Marco Sibeto, Michael (Linda) Sibeto, Paul 'Chook' (Stacey) Sibeto, Thomas Eakin; three sisters, Dawna Eakin, Carol Eakin Polumbo and Amanda Eakin; twelve grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Tim is preceded in death by his stepfather, Marco Sibeto, grandmother, Ruth Saunders, grandfather, Robert Saunders, grandmother, Cora Eakin and grandfather, Jim Eakin.
All services will be private.
