Timothy J. "Tim" Mosley, 39, of New Castle passed away the morning of Dec. 25, 2013 at his residence. Born Oct. 16, 1974, he was the son of James E. Mosley of Edinburg and Bonnie L. Likens Mosley of New Castle. A 1992 graduate of Mohawk High School, Tim attended Crowder College in Missouri, the University of Arkansas and graduated from Slippery Rock University. He was employed by Harsco in Pittsburgh as a union carpenter. Tim loved baseball and was in the Chicago Cubs minor league organization from 1994-1997. He also enjoyed softball, camping and was a Steeler fan. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a daughter, Caden Rhys Mosley; a son, Tyler Michael Mosley; a brother, Jeff S. Mosley; his former wife, Kristen L. Jones Mosley; and three nieces, Alyssa, Allison, and Ayla Mosley, all of New Castle. Tim was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Paul and June Likens and his paternal grandparents, James and Wanda Mosley. Visitation will be Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013, from 1-4 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road. A funeral service will be conducted immediately following visitation at 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013, at the funeral home. The Rev. Andrew Jillson of Northminster Presbyterian Church will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
