Obituary

Todd A. Blose, 40, of Old Butler Road, passed away unexpectedly the morning of May 21, 2016 at UPMC Jameson Hospital. Born July 9, 1975 in New Castle, he was the son of James A. Blose and Christine Morrison Enscoe, and the step-son of Bob Enscoe and Denise Blose. He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Meghan Baker Blose, whom he married November 2, 1996. Todd was employed with Local 12, Sheet Metal Workers Union, where he started as an apprentice, later becoming a journeyman. He was also the union organizer. Because of his love for the outdoors, Todd enjoyed fishing, boating and traveling. He valued the times spent with his family and friends. As a faithful believer, Todd was baptized through Christ. In addition to his parents and step-father, he is survived by one daughter, Madison A. Blose, and one son, Craig A. Blose, both of New Castle; three brothers, Jimmy Blose of New Castle, Adam Blose of Butler and Evan Blose of Lower Burrell, PA; his grandmothers, Norma Reba and Jan Blose; and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Loraine and Larry Baker. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, James Morrison and Delores Morrison; paternal grandfather, James J.R. Blose; his step-mother; and his wife's grandmother, Mary Joanne O'Brian. There were no calling hours. A private memorial service was held for the family at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., with Pastor Paul Porter officiating.
