Usuf J. Allen, age 48, of New Castle, passed away the early morning of May 12, 2022, at his residence. Born Dec. 3, 1973, in New Castle, he was the son of Samuel F. (Pattie) Allen and Patricia (Patrick) and Jack 'John' Smolnik. Usuf was a member of the United States Army. He worked as a welder for Miller Industries in Hermitage, PA. Along with his parents, survivors include his children, Usuf Allen, Jr., Kyli Allen, Ciera Allen, Josh Allen, and Xavier Allen; his siblings, Samuel, Jerry, Cindy, Kim, and Tammy Allen; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members. Usuf was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents. Visitation will be held June 4th from 1:00 -2:00 PM at the Church of Genesis, 303 N. Cedar St. New Castle, PA 16102. A memorial service will immediately follow visitation, at 2:00 PM, with Rev. Ron Ede officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to the R.
