Vera J. Flack, 91, of New Castle, passed away the morning of July 15, 2018 at Jameson Hospital. Born November 4, 1926, in Grove City, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Willis E. and Edith McBride Lutz. She married Ralph N. Flack on November 4, 1944. He preceded her in death in 1975. Vera graduated from Plan Grove High School. She was a homemaker. She loved visiting with friends and playing cards. What Vera treasured the most in life, was spending time with her family. Vera is survived by one son; David (Nancy) Flack of New Castle, one brother; Walter Lutz of Mercer, Pa., one granddaughter; Jennifer Flack of Cincinnati, Oh., and many nieces and nephews. Along with her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by one brother; Wade Lutz, two sisters; Grace Kahl and Janet Allen. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be at Plain Grove South Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made in Vera's honor to the American Cancer Society.
