Veronica Garberry, age 88, of Lucas, TX, formerly of New Castle, PA, passed away the afternoon of July 14, 2019.
Born September 7, 1930 in Centerville, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Marko) Rosich.
She married James Garberry on June 15, 1950. He preceded her in death on December 20, 2007.
Mrs. Garberry, and her late husband James, were house parents for individuals with developmental disabilities at Gateways to Better Living Inc., in Youngstown, OH. She enjoyed crocheting, baking, cooking and tending to her flower gardens. Her greatest joy in life, was spending time with her family. The light of Veronica's life, were her great grandchildren. Veronica was a former member of Clen-Moore Presbyterian Church.
Veronica is survived by two daughters, Dianna (Rick) Andrews of Lucas, TX; Deborah Jaskolka of Dallas, TX; five grandchildren, Leanna Andrews, Jessica (Jason) Nielsen, Jamie Jaskolka, Nichole Jaskolka, Jeana (Adam) Fennell and six great-grandchildren, Kennadi, Angelina, Simon, Skye, Laylan and Theo.
Along with her parents and husband, Veronica is preceded in death by five brothers, Steven, Martin, Frank, Frank Charles and Paul Rosich, as well as five sisters, Mildred Kevin, Mary Halm, Elsie Pacella, Margaret Acor and Anna Rosich.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 22nd from 10:00AM - 12:00PM at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road. A funeral service will follow immediately after visitation at 12:00 PM, with the Rev. Michael Spicuzza of Clen-Moore Presbyterian Church, officiating.
Burial will be at Castleview Cemetery.
